Every real estate company should have a mobile compatible website.
Better yet, create a Broker-centric iPhone app for property search.
Text-to-flyer, text-for-info….should be prominently displayed on the “for sale” sign.
I recently tried out Long and Foster’s iPhone application. The app took my location, and then showed me a list of all the homes in a 1 mile radius of where I was standing. The information included pictures and property detail (including list prices).
If I were a buyer, I would be a much happier consumer being able to get information how I desired and when I desired rather than calling a phone number only to receive a voice mail.

It’s good to see a more traditional firm like this taking on new tech. Smart…and the fact it field-tested well with you is a plus too
SO many agents try to keep new websites under wraps, and they don’t even tell their clients about ways to improve their search, because they want to remain the gatekeepers for housing info. To me, this is suicide. I love hearing about re companies making it easier, not harder, for their clients.
